Lue Amnat District
Amphoe Lue Amnat ( Thai: อำเภอ ลือ อำนาจ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Amnat Charoen. The Amnat Charoen province is located in the eastern part of the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.
Geography
Adjacent Amphoe are counted from the West: the Amphoe Hua Taphan, Mueang Amnat Charoen province Amnat Charoen and Phana, and Amphoe Muang Sam Sip in the province of Ubon Ratchathani.
History
Lue Amnat was on 1 April 1991 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by six tambon were separated from Amphoe Mueang Amnat Charoen today. On 5 December 1996 Lue Amnat has been promoted to Amphoe.
In 1993, Lue Amnat was one of the circles from which the new Amnat Charoen province was formed.
Management
Amphoe Lue Amnat is in seven communities ( tambon) divided, the further into 79 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
Amnat ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล อำนาจ ) is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in a circle, it covers parts of tambon Phra Lao and parts of the tambon Amnat.
There are also seven administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
