Lufthansa Systems AG, based in Kelsterbach ( Groß -Gerau ) is a 100 % subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group- internal consulting and IT services company, working alongside for Lufthansa and for third parties.

Activities

In 1995, the IT department of Lufthansa was spun off and established as Lufthansa Systems as an independent company. The company has approximately 3,000 employees, has several locations in Germany and 16 other countries. Services cover the airline business processes, ranging from passenger and cargo area on the operational flight to aircraft maintenance and overhaul. In addition to airlines are companies from industry, transport and logistics, energy, media and publishing, tourism and health care to clients. As a system integrator, Lufthansa Systems covers a wide range of IT services - from consulting to application development and deployment through to the 24 -hour operation. Lufthansa Systems helps companies to optimize their processes and IT landscapes so that they are more efficient. One focus is the introduction and development of SAP solutions that require a comprehensive industry and process know- how. The certified SAP partner covers the entire spectrum of the design and adaptation of the implementation and consolidation to maintenance of SAP systems.
