Lugalbanda
Lugalbanda ( " strong king" ) is in the mythology of the Sumerians, a deified king of the first dynasty of Uruk and god of the underworld, who is regarded as the husband of the goddess Ninsunna and as the father of Gilgamesh. Lugalbanda is known inter alia from the epics Lugalbanda and the cave and Lugalbanda and Enmerkar.
Lugalbanda, who initially served as a senior officer under Enmerkar, got transferred the divine attributes of strength, speed and flying during the campaign against Aratta of Anzu:
"In your hips may ( the ability to ) Running be present, thou shalt not tired, in your arms force may be present, let your arms swing out far ... like the sunlight to how Inanna, like the seven storms of işkur, like a fire rise up, like a flash wince. Wherever you look, go to the location that you have selected, set out your foot. "
