Lühburg

Lühburg is a municipality in the eastern part of the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. The municipality is the Office Gnoien, located in the eponymous city, managed.

Geography

The territory between the towns Gnoien and Ticino is located in Warbeltal. The small tributary of the Cernosin drains the mostly flat and slightly hilly area. The city of Rostock is about 30 kilometers away.

To Lühburg include the districts Basse gift of God, and Repnitz Strietfeld.

The three-winged mansion in Lühburg was built around 1725/30 of Ludolph Friedrich von Bassewitz on a medieval wall- trench system, the neo-Gothic brick tower on the rear front is evidence of a restoration in 1885. 1945 is expropriated and expelled the family of Bassewitz, the manor different uses supplied. Transport links

Federal highway 110 ( Rostock- Demmin ) crosses the area Lühburg. Near the village of Repnitz it crosses the motorway 20 (junction Ticino). The nearest railway station is about seven kilometers from the city of Ticino ( train to Rostock ).
