Luigi de Magistris (mayor)

Luigi de Magistris ( born June 20, 1967 in Naples ) is an Italian prosecutor and politician of the Liberal Party Italia dei Valori. He became known as Attorney by several investigations of corruption against some prominent politicians. Since 2011 he has been mayor of Naples. Previously, he was from the European election 2009 Member of the European Parliament.

Career as a prosecutor

De Magistris began his career as a prosecutor in 1995. Between 1998 and 2002 he worked in Naples, then in Catanzaro. Political career
