Luigi Misto

Luigi Misto (* June 24, 1952 in Binago ) is the current secretary of administration of goods of the Apostolic See.

Life

He was a student in Rome at the Pontifical Lombard Seminar ( 1976-1979 ). He received on 12 June 1976, the ordination. He received his doctorate in canon law at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1981.

He taught as a professor of canon law at the seminary of Milan ( Seveso, 1979-1983; Venegono Inferiore, 1983-1999 ), and Chancellor of the Curia from 1999 to 2004 and as a member of the Board of the Central Institute for the support of the clergy ( 2001-2011 ). John Paul II appointed him on 6 November 2001 on the Kaplan His Holiness. He was elevated to honorary canon of the Metropolitan Chapter of Milan Cathedral in recognition of his services to the Archdiocese of Milan.

He was previously director of the School of Religious Studies and Ambrosian Foundation Paul VI. in Villa Cagnola Gazzada Anno, director of the ministry of the Archdiocese of Milan, to promote the economic support of the Church and Professor of Public Law at the seminary of Milan and the Canon Law Institute Pius X in Venice. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on July 7, 2011 as the secretary of administration of goods of the Apostolic See.
