Luigi Sartor

Luigi Sartor ( born January 30, 1975 in Treviso ) is an Italian former football player.

In his career, the defender won, among others, the UEFA Cup with three different teams ( Juventus, Inter Milan and Parma ). In 1996, he was with the Italian U -21 national team champions along with players such as Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Alessandro Nesta, Christian Panucci and Francesco Totti, in this team he was in the defense team regular. Sartor also completed two games for the national team of Italy.

Career

Luigi Sartor began his professional career at Juventus, where he in 1992/93 won the UEFA Cup. After that, he was first loaned to AC Reggiana and then sold to Vicenza Calcio. In 1996 he was Cesare Maldini with Italy 's U-21 European Champion and 1997 he won the Coppa Italia with Vicenza. After the Cup triumph Sartor changes to Inter Milan where he won the UEFA Cup again in 1997/98. The year 1998/99 was the most successful of his career, he won with the AC Parma in the UEFA Cup, the Italian Super Cup and the Italian Cup. His last success was winning the Coppa Italia, the Italian Cup in 2002 with Parma. After that he played for AS Roma, AC Ancona, Genoa, FC Sopron, Hellas Verona and Ternana Calcio, where he ended his career.
