Luís Eduardo Schmidt

Luís Eduardo Schmidt, short Edu ( born January 10, 1979 in Jaú, Brazil ) is a Brazilian footballer who plays for SC Internacional in the Brazilian football league. He also holds an Italian passport. As his surname suggests, he also has German ancestors.

Playing career

São Paulo

The first club was the Edú of Sao Paulo. There he was introduced to professional football and in that time he also came to an intervention in the Brazilian national team.

Celta Vigo

In 2000 Edú made ​​the jump to Europe. In Celta Vigo he was a regular player and even played in the Champions League. After the descent of the Galicians he left the team in 2004 in the direction of Andalusia.
