Luis Miguel
Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri ( born April 19, 1970 in San Juan (Puerto Rico) ) is a Mexican singer of Latin American music. With five Grammys and four Latin Grammys, he is one of the most successful artists of this region.
With Un Sol 's debut album of the then eleven year old singer appeared on EMI / Mexico. In 1985 he took part in the Sanremo Festival, the same year he sang along with Sheena Easton duet Me Gustas Tal Como Eres. For this he received his first Grammy Award. His 1991 album Romance with boleros of the 1950s, was a huge success and millions of times. In 1996 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Great tours like the Amarte Es Un Placer Tour (1999-2000, 103 concerts) and the Mis Romances Tour (2002, 62 concerts) led him to North and South America and Spain.
