Luka Karabatic ( born April 19, 1988 in Strasbourg ) is a French handball player of Croatian Serb origin.

Karabatic comes from a handball family. His father, Branko Karabatic, and his brother Nikola Karabatic played, and also play professional handball. Luka Karabatic was said to have great talents for both handball and for tennis. He opted first for the sport of tennis and played the TC LOGOPAK Hartsholm.

The 2.02 -meter circle runners stood since 2008 at Montpellier AHB in France under contract. On September 30, 2012 Karabatic and his girlfriend were taken into custody for suspicion of manipulation around the encounter against Montpellier Paris. Then moved Karabatic on 15 November 2012 for the French club Pays d' Aix UC.

The Montpellier he won in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 the championship and played in the EHF Champions League.

In the French national Luka Karabatic debuted on June 8, 2011 against Argentina. 2014, the coverage specialist became European Champion with his brother in Denmark.
