Lukas Kruse ( born July 9, 1983 in Paderborn ) is a German football player. He plays the position of goalkeeper.

Career

In youth Kruse played at TSV Tudorf as well as red and white elves. From there he moved in August 1995 to SC Paderborn 07

In 2001 he came in the regional team from Paderborn to use. Originally only goalkeeper, he was temporarily because of an injury-related loss of Stephan Loboué first goalie in the second division season 2005/ 06. However, Kruse moved by the commitment of Tom Starke during the winter break back to the bench.

In the season 2006/ 07 he was still only spare behind Strong. After the change of Tom Strong for MSV Duisburg Alexander Bade was committed as a new number one. This meant that Kruse remained goalkeeper. He could but in the 2nd round of the DFB Cup against the champions VfB Stuttgart, as well as other 3 league games due to a sending off of the root goalkeeper Alexander Bade, show good performance. After the change of bath to Borussia Dortmund during the winter break, Kruse was set for the second half of the 2007/08 season, under new coach Pavel Dotchev, as goalkeeper.

For the season 2008/ 09 changed Kruse, as Alexander Bade before, to Borussia Dortmund. There he acted behind Roman Weidenfeller and Marc Ziegler as third goalkeeper and played mainly in the regional team. At the end of the winter break, he moved to FC Augsburg. Just one year later Kruse returned to Paderborn. When SCP Kruse was in season 2010/11 goalkeeper behind Daniel Masuch. After his departure in 2011, he became the new number one in the Paderborn goal.
