Lukas Steinhauer

Lukas Steinhauer (born 27 August 1992 in Rosenheim ) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2013 in the Schwenningen Wild Wings from the German ice hockey league under contract.

Career

Lukas Steinhauer began his career in 2007 at the Star Bulls Rosenheim in the German Junior League, for which he went three seasons on the ice. In the 2009/10 season he also made ​​his debut in the big leagues when he played four games for the Rosenheim. After the rise of Starbulls to the 2nd Bundesliga Steinhauer was taken for three years from the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract who loaned him by the production license to the Oberliga EHC Klostersee. On 17 October 2010 he made ​​his DEL debut against the Polar Bears Berlin, which the Scorpions won 3-2.

In December 2010, Steinhauer was equipped by the Scorpions with a mining license for the Hannover Indians from the 2nd Bundesliga and for the Hannover Braves from the Oberliga Nord.

In 2012 he signed a contract for one season at Red Bull EHC München and herded behind National Goalie Jochen Reimer goal of the country's capital city. For the 2013/14 season Steinhauer changes as a substitute goalkeeper for DEL newbie Schwenningen Wild Wings.

Internationally

Lukas Steinhauer represented the German national ice hockey team at the World Championships for U18 Juniors 2009 and at the World Championships for Juniors U20 - 2010.
