Lukestar

Lukestar was a Norwegian rock band from Oslo.

Biography

In 2002 the band released a first EP, and two years later the LP Alpine Unit. Her breakthrough they had in 2008 with the album Lake Toba, which was awarded a Spellemannprisen, the highest Norwegian music award, for the rock album of the year. The album was subsequently published among others in Germany, the USA and Japan, and the band has performed in many countries. The big success was, however, and the album did not come in the Norwegian charts. Unlike their third album, Taiga, with which it Lukestar make it to number 22 of the Norwegian album charts. However, they soon afterwards decided their resolution and gave their farewell concert end of August 2012.

After switching off the band's singer Truls Heggero launched a solo career.
