Lukiškės Square

The Lukiškės Square ( Lithuanian Lukiškių aikštė ) is a square in the center of the Lithuanian capital Vilnius. The site is located between the streets Vasario 16- osios ir J. tumors Vaižganto in the former suburb Lukiškės, not far from Lukiškių Prison.

History

End of the 18th century they built the Catholic Philip and James church, the monastery and a hospital. 1860 the territory was to the marketplace.
