Lukman Haruna

Lukman Haruna Abdulkarim ( born December 4, 1990 in Jos ) is a Nigerian football player.

Career

Haruna proved his skills as a midfielder in 2007, when he led the Nigerian U- 17 national team as captain after winning the African Cup for the world title.

Thereupon top international clubs got in touch with him, and in early 2008 he moved to the first French League to AS Monaco. On 9 January 2008, he also denied the age of 18 his first senior international for Nigeria. In the second half of 2008/ 09 he was at least four times for the Monegasque used.

The U -20 World Cup 2009 was then unlucky for Haruna: After a red card suspension, he missed the first round games and on his return followed a scarce from his team against Germany.
