Luliang County

The circle Luliang (Ch陆良 县; pinyin: Luliang Xiàn ) is a county in the east of China's Yunnan province. He belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Qujing (曲靖 市). Luliang is located at the headwaters of Nanpan Jiang. The county has an area of 2,096 km ² and approximately 610,000 inhabitants ( end of 2004). At the census in the year 2000 581.764 inhabitants were counted.

Administrative Divisions

At the community level, Luliang is composed of eight large municipalities and two municipalities. These are:

  • Greater community Zhongshu (中枢 镇), the capital, the seat of county government;
  • Greater community Banqiao (板 桥镇);
  • Greater community Sanchahe (三岔 河镇);
  • Greater community Majie (马 街镇);
  • Greater community Zhaokua (召 夸 镇);
  • Greater community Damogu (大 莫 古镇);
  • Greater community Fanghua (芳华 镇);
  • Greater community Xiaobaihu (小 百户 镇);
  • Community Huoshui (活 水乡);
  • Community Longhai (龙海 乡).

In 2006, the municipality Hetaocun (核桃 村乡) had been dissolved. Part of their administrative territory of the commune Huoshui, another part of the community Shuangqingkou (双 箐 口 乡) was slammed. The new enlarged Shuangqingkou was subsequently renamed in Longhai.
