Lüliang Mountains

The Lüliang Shan or Lüliang Mountains (吕梁山) is a mountain range in the west of China's Shanxi province. It is the watershed of the Huang He (Yellow River ) and Fen He. Its main peak, Guandi Shan is 2831 m high and lies to the east of the circle Fangshan.

It was the scene of a bewaffteten peasant uprising ( Lüliang Shan nongminjun ) towards the end of the Ming dynasty.
