Lulong County

Lulong (卢龙 县) is a county of the prefecture-level city of Qinhuangdao in north China's Hebei Province. It has an area of 961 km ² and has about 420,000 inhabitants ( end of 2009). In the census in 2000 were 98.6 % of the population Han Chinese. Largest ethnic minority were the Manju with more than 4300 members. About 100 residents were among the Zhuang (661), the Hui Chinese (243 ) and the Mongols (166).

The Great Uṣṇīṣa - Vijaya - Dharani - Sūtra column ( Since Foding Zunsheng Tuoluoni Jingchuang大 佛顶 尊胜 陀罗尼 经幢) from the time of jurčenischen Jin Dynasty is since 2006 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 6-814 ). It stands in the center of the large village Lulong.
