Lumezzane
Lumezzane ( Lömedàne in lumezzanese, Le Medhane in bresciano ) is a town with 23,320 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy. Lumezzane located in the Val Gobbia, a side valley of the Valle Trompia. The neighboring community are Agnosine, Bione, Caino, Casto, Concesio Marcheno, Nave, Sarezzo and Villa Carcina.
Structure
The municipality also includes the villages ( fractions) Faidana, Fontana, Gazzolo, Gombaiolo, Mezzaluna, Piatucco, Pieve, Premiano, Renzo, San Sebastiano, Sant'Apollonio, appointments and Valle.
Sports
The football club AC Lumezzane founded in 1948, plays in Lega Pro Prima Divisione, the third highest Italian league, Serie C1 in 2008 which was called to the year. Former players are, inter alia, Simone Inzaghi (1996-1997), Cristian Brocchi (1997-1998) and Mario Balotelli ( 2005-2006).
