Lundu (dance)

The Lundu is an old African- Brazilian folk dance in 2/4-cycle that of a guitar ( fantasia ), was sometimes accompanied by percussion music. As the Rowdy he is one of the precursors of Samba, from which he has been displaced, and the oldest Brazilian music styles. The dance was also popular in the white middle class and can be regarded as the first national dance of Brazil.
