Lunga River (Zambia)

The river Lunga is one of the great and right tributaries of the Kafue, which flows like the river Lufupa in these in the 750 km ² large Busangasümpfen above and north of the Itezhitezhi dam in the Kafue National Park. It rises about 50 kilometers north- west of Solwezi on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo and is just over 400 kilometers long. Its course runs through the Copperbelt to the south and then through animal loving Miombowälder. Seine River in the national park are a popular tourist destination. They are well connected with camps lodges.

There is also the river in Zambia Western Lunga, which is a tributary of the Kabompo which opens as the Kafue in the Zambezi.
