LUnix

Lunix is a short form for "little Unix". This " small Unix" is a free operating system for the Commodore 64, or - in a special version - the Commodore 128 and is distributed under the GNU General Public License ( GPL) as free software.

Lunix has skills such as constrained Preemptive multitasking, limited network and Internet capabilities.

Current version is 0.21 released in September 2004.
