Luny Tunes

Luny Tunes is the most successful production duo the genre reggaeton and " Hurban " ( word created from " Hispanic Urban" ). The duo consists of

  • Francisco Saldaña ( " Luny " ), born on June 23, 1979 in La Romana, a city on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic and
  • Víctor Cabrera ( " Tunes" ), born on 12 April 1981 in a location in the Cibao valley in the northwest of the Dominican Republic.

As namesake Warner Bros. Looney Tunes were the inspiration.

Growing up, both in Boston ( USA); later they moved to Puerto Rico, where she first worked together with producer DJ Nelson. Known to a wider audience they were in 2003, the compilation " DJ Nelson presenta Luny Tunes & Noriega: Más flow".

A very large part of the Puerto Rican reggaeton was and has since been produced by them. The duo produced many pieces and albums of reggaeton artists Tego Calderón, Don Omar, Wisin y Yandel, Daddy Yankee, Héctor y Tito, Ivy Queen, Glory, Eddie Dee, Julio Voltio, Yaga y Mackie, Zion y Lennox, salsa artist Víctor Manual as well as albums of his own, beginning with part of the puerto Rican producer Noriega, and DJ Nelson, last often with Baby Ranks, Naldo, Nely ( " El arma secreta " ), Nesty ( " La instruments maestra " ) and Tainy as co- producer.
