Luo Gan
Luo Gan (Chinese罗干; * 1935 in Jinan / Shandong) is a Chinese politician. He was 2002-2007 Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China.
Luo Gan was the oldest of the Standing Committee of the Politburo. He is considered a follower of Li Peng, as his right hand he campaigned for the suppression of the democracy movement in 1989. Commentators suspect that his collection is due in the Standing Committee to the fact that Li Peng wants to prevent a re-evaluation of the events of 1989.
