Lupao, Nueva Ecija

Lupao ( Tagalog: Bayan ng Lupao ) is a Philippine municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, in the Administrative Region III, Central Luzon. Lupao has 40 931 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 24 barangays. It is classified as a community of the third income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized. It was founded on 31 January 1901.

Lupao in the north of the province on the southern slopes of the Caraballo Mountains in the northeast of the Central Luzon level. Your neighboring municipalities are Umingan in the north, Carranglan in the northeast, San Jose City in the south and the Science City of Muñoz, situated in the west.

The provincial capital is located about 75 km Palayan City in the southeast, about 175 kilometers south of Manila and Baguio City located about 110 km to the northwest of Lupao.
