The Luppbode at Allrode
The Luppbode is a right tributary of the Bode in the Harz in Saxony- Anhalt.
Course
The Luppbode rises south of Allrode and flows in a northerly direction. In the further course it flows as lively babbling brook parallel to L93. In spring the Luppbode places developed into a raging meltwater stream. She is one of the few tributaries, the right-hand side flows in the Bode canyon in the Bode. The mouth is located opposite the place Treseburg.
Fauna
In the Luppbode numerous endangered species such as the brown trout and small crustaceans live.
