Lurgan
Lurgan (Irish An Lorgain ) is a town of some 23,000 inhabitants in Armagh County, Northern Ireland.
The village lies on the M1 on the eastern edge of Craigavon to the Borough there is one, between Portadown in the West, in the East Moira, Banbridge Lough Neagh in the south and the north.
The local football club Glenavon FC plays in Mourneview Park stadium which already held a number of international games.
The region was in the Northern Ireland conflict area of operation of the Loyalist Volunteer Force, the Direct Action Against Drugs and venue of Five Minutes of Heaven.
