Lusa - Agência de Notícias de Portugal, S. A. is a Portuguese news agency.

It was founded in December 1986 as a limited company in Lisbon. The main shareholder is the Portuguese State. Seat and Zentralredaktion located at Rua Dr. João Couto, in the district of Benfica. Lusa widespread national and international news in newspapers, magazines, radio, television and websites around the world.

As a main focus of the Agency applies the production of articles and features about the Portuguese-speaking world; it supplies it mainly to media Lusophonie.
