Lüscherz (French Locras ) is a municipality in the administrative district in the canton of Bern Seeland in Switzerland.
History
The oldest surviving mention of the name Lüsslingen dated to the year 1271st shore settlements, however, are already proven for the Neolithic.
Geography
Lüsslingen located on the southern shore of Lake Biel on the northern slope of the switching Rains. Direct neighboring municipalities are Brüttelen, Hagneck, Finsterhennen, Siselen and Vinelz. Lüscherz is often confused because of the similarity of the name with the communities Tüscherz and Ligerz, but both are located on the northern shore of Lake Biel.

The voter shares of the parties at the national elections of 2011 were: SVP 46.3 %, 15.7 % BDP, SP 11.6 %, 9.2 % glp, GPS 6.3 %, FDP 5.3 %, 1.2 % parteifrei.ch, EPP 1.0 %, EDU 0.6 %, CVP 0.5 %.
