Luser

The term dumbest assumable user ( user of English, users'; short DAU ) is a term for computer users without basic knowledge and expertness, the rough ways of thinking and application errors in dealing with computers and commit their accessories. The term is particularly relevant in the creation of user- USEFULLY hardware and software (usability ) play a role: programs that can be crashed by a " stupid " to be adopted by users who are poorly written ( exception handling / exception handling fails ).

Origin

The term was inspired by the word GAU ( Largest credible accident ) and was then taken over including in the field of project management of information technology. If such a program is the property of being DAU -compatible attributed, this means that the program is usable and of them intuitively applicable even without background knowledge of future users (keywords usability testing and ease of use) as well as possible incorrect operations are scheduled.
