Lussich Arboretum

The Arboretum Lussich is a 192 -acre arboretum in the department of Maldonado in Uruguay on the east side of Laguna del Sauce.

The Arboretum Lussich is located in the Sierra de la Ballena in the north of Punta Ballena at a distance of 128 km from the state capital Montevideo and 15 km northwest of Punta del Este at the Ruta Interbalnearia and the Ruta 12 and the National Road 38 is The founding on 1895 back when Antonio Lussich in the area bought up 1800 acres and began reforestation. He bought most seeds, plants and trees and planted them around his house.
