Lutheran, Germany

Lutheran is a municipality in the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). It is administered by the Office Eldenburg Lübz with headquarters in the city Lübz to which it is adjacent.

Geography and transport

The community is located about two kilometers west of Lübz and approximately twelve kilometers east of Parchim in a flat plain to the west of Lake Müritz - Elde waterway. East of the municipality runs the Müritz - Elde waterway. Notable lakes and woodlands, as well as prominent hills in the municipality do not exist.

Through the village leads the federal highway 191 and the railway line Parchim - Neubrandenburg, but which in the municipal area has a breakpoint.

Districts

History

Lutheran was first mentioned in 1324 as Latran. A derivation of the name of Martin Luther, referring to the neighboring town of Rome is therefore not possible.
