Lutz Haueisen

Lutz Haueisen ( born October 12, 1958 in Jena ) is a retired German racing cyclist from the German Democratic Republic, who won two world titles in track cycling.

Haueisen began in 1971 with the cycling, since 1973, he coached at SG bismuth Gera under coach Klaus Aurich. 1978 won Haueisen in the GDR Championship on the winter track in the pursuit race. In 1979 he became world champion in the team pursuit, together with Gerald Mortag, Axel Grosser and Volker Winkler. Gerald Mortag and Volker Winkler appeared in 1980 at the Olympic Games. Haueisen specialized after missed chance at the Olympic points race, which was from 1984, are part of the Olympic program. In 1981 he won the world title of the amateurs, 1982, he placed himself in 10th at the World Championships. 1983 won Haueisen the GDR winter track championship points race. After he was unable to attend the Olympic debut in the points race for the Olympic boycotts of the GDR in 1984, he won the European Cup. 1985 Lutz Haueisen East German champion in the points race.

Lutz Haueisen ended his active career in 1987. He runs a cycling shop in Gera. He is the father of Dennis Haueisen, 2004 and 2005 drove Dennis Haueisen in a sponsored by his father Team RSH ( Radshop Haueisen ). Until the end of 2009 Lutz Haueisen and his wife Sylvia Haueisen the Continental Team Milram were active.
