Lutz Ulbricht

Lutz Ulbricht ( born November 9, 1942 in Berlin ) is a retired German rower. He won the 1968 Olympic gold medal in the eights.

Ulbricht launched in Frankfurt for the Frankfurt RG Germania. In 1963, he was together with Detlef Damboldt in two coxless third in the German Championship in 1964, the two runners-up was behind the Karlsruhe boat with Michael Swan and Wolfgang Hottenrott. From these four rowers a coxless four in 1965 put together, who won the German championship right away and vice-European champion.

1966 changed Ulbricht and swan in Germany aft under Charles Adam. This boat won the German league title and also won at the World Championships in Bled. 1968 Ulbricht was sitting again in Germany aft.
