LWS-3 Mewa

The LWS -3 Mewa ( Seagull ) was a single-engine Polish reconnaissance aircraft. The development work began in 1935. The first prototype flew in November 1937. Due to the good performance of the type, the Polish Air Force ordered 200 copies of the end of 1938. On 2 September 1939, the first two aircraft were delivered to the Polish units. The delivery of other machines could not be done because of the outbreak of war.
