Lyapis Trubetskoy

Ljapis Trubetskoj (White Russian Ляпіс Трубяцкі; Russian Ляпис Трубецкой ) is a company incorporated in the former Belarusian SSR 1990 rock band. It is considered one of the most famous musical groups from Belarus.

Founder of the band and to this day their singer and frontman is Sergei Michalok. The band's name was a character in the Soviet Union very popular book borrowed Twelve Chairs.

After the group was still a typical alternative band with loose cohesion and without commercial success in the early 1990s, it has developed since 1996, becoming a in Belarus, but also in Russia, Ukraine and other countries of the former Soviet Union very popular band.
