Lydie Auvray

Lydie Auvray ( born 1956 in Langrune- sur -Mer in Calvados, Normandy ) is a French accordionist, singer and founder of the Auvrettes. Your musical application led to a popular revival of playing the accordion. Auvray lives in Cologne.

Private

Lydie Auvray spent her childhood and school years in Caen in Normandy. After high school she moved to Berlin in 1974 to improve their German. In 1993 she married the Martiniquesen Franck Picot and brought her daughter to the world Cannelle.

Musical development

First public appearance took place in Berlin clubs as accompanist by Jürgen Slopianka (1976). She toured with him through West Germany and began a collaboration with Thommie Bayer ( 1977), she worked with Klaus Hoffmann at the LP Westend and has attended with him two indoor tours (1979 ), while the double live album by Klaus Hoffmann was a concert. With Hannes Wader she is working on the LP It 's time (1980 ) and went with him on tour (1982).

She released her first LP premiere and appeared as a soloist in radio and television broadcasts on, both in Germany and in Denmark. It was followed by the founding of their own band, the Auvrettes with which they went on tour (1982). Self she undertook with Hannes Wader in Helsinki, Moscow and Paris and it was their second LP Paradiso ( 1983). After a 45 -minute feature in the German under the title The house in Normandy, she began working with the Clown Pic. It was their third album Ensemble ( 1985) and the fourth LP D'accord, which was produced by her boyfriend Stefan Stoppok (1987). Several trips to Martinique brought new musical influences in Lydies oeuvre (1988). She worked on various productions, as Stephan Remmlers title Lotto, Peter Maffay LP Long shadows and Senta Berger's album We will see further in Reinhard Mey and his album On and on (1994). Together with the String Quartet Indigo, she took on the CD Tango Toujours and went with them on joint tour ( 2003). Auvray worked on Rilke Project (2003, Vol 3) and the NOX project by Gerd Köster and Dirk Raulf. 2004 she released her first solo album Pure. She appeared in numerous television programs of the WDR, Radio Bremen and the Bavarian Radio.
