Lyfe Jennings

Lyfe Jennings ( born June 3, 1978 in Toledo, Ohio, real name Chester Jennings Lyfe ) is an American R & B musician and rapper from Los Angeles.

Career

In his youth, Lyfe Jennings was in the church choir and played with his brother and cousins ​​in a band called The Dotsons. But then he was delinquent and had for a long time in prison for arson. In prison, he worked intensively with music and two days after his release, he recorded a demo CD. He appeared as a singer on acoustic guitar and successfully sold his CD. And he got offers from record labels and signed with Columbia in New York. One and a half years after the end of imprisonment his debut album Lyfe 268-192, appeared named after his prison number. The album was very successful, was a year in the Billboard 200 and sold over one million copies. The single Must Be Nice came into the Top 40 on the Hot 100 and was also a million seller.

At intervals of two years followed by the albums The Phoenix and Lyfe Change with whom Jennings came each topped the R & B charts and the Top Five of the official sales charts.
