Lygdamis of Naxos

Adriani was a tyrant of the Greek island of Naxos in the second half of the 6th century BC

He belonged to the nobility and supported naxischen Pisistratus at its third attempt to conquer absolute power ( tyranny ) in Athens (ca. 546 BC). Pisistratus conquered it around the year 538 BC, Naxos and left it to the reign of Adriani. This position had Adriani probably bc position until the year 524, when he was deposed by a Spartan expedition that was going on against Polycrates of Samos.
