Lynard Stewart

Lynard Stewart ( born May 12, 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ) is a former American professional basketball player. After studying Stewart played first rather briefly in various countries as a professional before he played from 2001 some time in the British Basketball League (BBL ) and there also celebrated his greatest successes. So Stewart was 2008 's "Most Valuable Player " ( MVP ) of the BBL awarded before two years later he ended his active career in the BBL. Stewart was then coach of a high school basketball team in his hometown.

Career

Stewart was a successful high school basketball player in his home town, but went to study not like his two older brothers, Larry, who as a professional had a career in the NBA, and Stephen, who worked as a basketball coach of a high school team later, at the Coppin State University but to the Temple University in Philadelphia. There he played for the college team Owls in the Atlantic 10 Conference ( A- 10) of the NCAA. 1995 and 1996, lost to the final of the championship tournament of the A-10 as well as in the two previous years against the Minutemen of the University of Massachusetts.
