Lynn Hilary

Lynn Hilary (born 21 April 1982 Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish singer, guitarist and composer. She was a member of the group Celtic Woman.

Career

Hilary made ​​2005 her Bachelor of Music performance at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT ). At first she sang classical music, but later switched to Celtic music to exploit their natural voice. Career

Hilary was in 2000 a member of the Irish choir Anúna. She toured with the group by the United States, Morocco, the Netherlands and Finland. She also sang the lead vocal in Cloud Song of Riverdance at the Opening Ceremony of the 2003 Special Olympics in Croke Park, Dublin. Hilary toured with Riverdance in 2006 as a soloist in the USA. In 2008 she released her solo album Take Me With You.

Celtic Woman

In 2007, Méav Ní Mhaolchatha known to leave the group in order to focus on her solo career. Then Hilary joined the group and started with the A New Journey tour on 10 October 2007 in Estero, Florida. She was the first new member since the foundation in 2004.

Lynn sang on the albums The Greatest Journey, Songs from the Heart, Lullaby, and the Japanese version of Believe. After Celtic Woman
