Lynn Hoffman (family therapist)

Lynn Hoffman ( born September 10, 1924 in Paris) is an American social worker, psychotherapist, pioneer and at the same time historian of family therapy. Originally she worked in the Strategic family therapy. Today it is regarded as a prominent proponent of postmodern psychotherapy. Hoffman often and intensively collaborated with Jay Haley and maintains close communication with her ​​colleague Harlene Anderson from Texas.
