Lynn Loring

Lynn Loring (* July 14, 1944 as Lynn Zimring in New York City ) is an American child actress, actress and film producer.

Life

Loring began her career at the age of seven as a child actress in the produced by Procter & Gamble soap opera Search for Tomorrow. There she played the role of Patti Barron Tate 1951-1961. She played in this time also guest-starred in other television series. After her high school graduation in 1961, she left Search for Tomorrow to be able to accept film roles. In the same year she was on the side of Natalie Wood and Warren Beatty in the film drama Splendor in her feature film debut. The following year, she starred alongside Sidney Poitier and Bobby Darin in the language of violence. Loring played in the 1960s continues to guest roles in television series such as Gunsmoke and Perry Mason. In the first season of the series Crime FBI she played Barbara Erskine, daughter of the lead actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr.. After nine episodes their role was written out.

In 1967 she married actor Roy Thinnes, whom she had met on the set of The Invaders. Together, the two were in the same year in the British science fiction film accident in space in front of the camera. By 1975, they still appeared in some TV movies, then she retired from acting. In 1979, she began a second career as a film producer. After several television films, including A dream man on the front page, it produced 1983 film comedy Mr. Mom with Michael Keaton in the lead role. In 1984 their marriage was with Roy Thinnes. Loring's last production so far was my friend, the kidnapper from the year 1993.
