Lynn Loyns

Lynn Loyns ( born February 22, 1981 in Naicam, Saskatchewan ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since November 2011 at the DEG Metro Stars in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

The links Sagittarius began his career in 1997 at the Spokane Chiefs in the Canadian Junior Football League WHL and graduated in 2001 his first game in the American Hockey League with the Cleveland Barons, the former farm team of the San Jose Sharks. A year later, the winger received his first appearances in the National Hockey League, where he was able to achieve three goals in 19 appearances for the Sharks.

In the 2003/2004 season Loyns stood both for the NHL San Jose Sharks club and for the Calgary Flames, to which he was transferred during the playing time on the ice. There were forces in the Cleveland Barons and the Lowell Lock Monsters, where he complete the 2004/ 05 completed due to the lockout in the NHL. In 2005/06 season, the striker 's return not only 68 inserts for the AHL club Omaha Ak -Sar - Ben Knights, but was ordered for another game back to the Calgary Flames. Overall, the Canadians played 34 games in the highest North American professional league, but moved because of lack of prospects for 2006/ 07 to Europe, where he managed the Krefeld Penguins of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga joined. After he played a total of four seasons in Germany and had to retire from the last due to a torn ACL, Loyns mid-November 2010 decided to HC Val Pusteria from the Italian Serie switch A1, where he replaced his compatriot Tyler Doig. In July 2011, he joined the EC VSV in the Austrian EBEL, where he signed a contract until 2012. After two scorer points in nine games, his contract was terminated in October 2011 ahead of schedule. In November he received a contract with the DEG Metro Stars.
