Lynne Perrie

Lynne Perrie ( born April 7, 1931 in Rotherham Yorkshire; † 24 March 2006) was a British actress and the sister of Duggie Brown.

Her first role was Mrs Casper in Kes. From the early 1970s and regularly since the late 70s, she played Ivy Tilsley, a Roman Catholic factory worker in the telenovela Coronation Street. In 1994 she settled without consultation with the producers of the telenovela clapboard her lips and thereby lost her role in the series. Later, she published her memoirs, in which she reported, among others, the many affairs during their marriage.

Perrie was married and had a son. She died of a stroke.
