Lynsey de Paul

Lynsey de Paul ( born June 11, 1950 in London, England as Lynsey Monckton Rubin) is a British singer and songwriter.

As a writer of the sung by the group The Fortunes Storm in a Teacup song she had her first hit in 1972 in the British charts. A few months later she was able to place with Sugar Me another title, this time sung by herself.

In 1973 she was the first woman to the Ivor Novello Award received - for the song Will not Somebody Dance with Me, which was awarded as the best ballad. Your 1976 recorded song If I Do not Get You the Next One Will processed the end of her affair with Ringo Starr.
