Lys-lez-Lannoy

Lys -lez- Lannoy is a northern French village with 13,378 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Nord, in the Nord -Pas -de -Calais. The municipality is directly connected to the city of Roubaix in the West.

Location

The community is located near the border with Belgium. Your city is bordered to the west and northwest directly to Roubaix. To the east of the city lies the industrial area Roubaix Est. To the south of the industrial area lies the community Toufflers.

In the south of the city lies the village of fields separated Sailly- lez- Lannoy and in the southwest the community Hem.

History

Lys -lez- Lannoy was first mentioned in records in 1164 with the notation " Lis -lez- Lannoy ".

Policy

Mayor of the municipality since the March 9, 2008 Josiane Willoqueaux of the Parti Socialiste. She pulled Daniel Chabasse of the Divers from droite.
