Lysaker

Lysaker is a village in the municipality of Bærum.

Lysaker is bordered to the east by the Norwegian capital Oslo and south directly to a branch of the Oslo Fjord between the Fornebu and the Bygdøy peninsula. Two major transport axes Drammenbanen and the European Route 18, leading through Lysaker. Originally the site was a preferred residential area, whose most famous resident 1902-1930 Fridtjof Nansen on his property Polhøgda, since 1957 the seat of the Fridtjof Nansen Foundation, was.
