Lyski
Lyski ( German Lissek ) is a village in the powiat Rybnicki in Silesia, Poland. It is also the seat of the municipality of the same country.

Geography
The village Lyski located 11 km west of Rybnik and 48 km south-west of Katowice.
History
From 1975 to 1998 Lyski belonged to the Province of Katowice.

The community Lyski extends over an area of 57.83 km ². From the surface, 53% is used for agriculture and 36 % is forested.
