The Ysopblättrige loosestrife ( Lythrum hyssopifolia ), also referred to as hyssop loosestrife, is a very rare occurring in Central Europe, midget representatives of the Lythraceae ( Lythraceae ). It flowers from June to September.

Features

The one-year ( therophytische ), herbaceous plant reaches a height of about 5 to 30 centimeters. It grows mostly upright, open spots somewhat decumbent, unbranched branches to strong, more or less colored teal and completely bald. The stem has narrow, membranous longitudinal edges. The stem leaves are linear - lanceolate, about 2.5 inches long and 0.5 inches wide, mostly alternate (bottom often against constantly ) pedunculated and sessile or short. They have two small, pfriemliche, lasting bracts. The calyx teeth and between teeth are about the same length. The flowers are usually solitary or in pairs in the axils and are stalked in the central stem portion short. They have tube- to funnel-shaped cup axis.
